Friendship is Gainful

Friendship is all about gain. If it is not gainful, it is not worthy. To be a friend means the following:
F: - free Access: - Are you freely accessible by someone in need?
R: - responsive: - Are you responsive to someone in need?
I: - interesting: -  Are you interesting to relate with or boring? A man that
has friend must show himself friendly.
E: - encouraging:- Are you an encouragement or a discouragement to
someone?
N: - needed: -    Are you there for those who need you or you are just there
for yourself alone?
D:- darling :-   Are you a darling? Is your partner enjoying or enduring
you?
S: - supportive: - Are you supportive or suppressive? Are you threatened
with your partners’ progress or achievements?
H: - helpful: - Are you helpful or hurtful? When someone is in a dire need
or at a cross road, does your name ring bell in their heart?
I: - important: - Are you important and relevant in someone’s life or either
you are there or not, it makes no difference?
P: - profitable: - Are you profitable or poisonous to someone’s life?

Any friendship that you are not gaining from, you are adversely losing to. If it is not adding to you, it is reducing you.

Relationship is a Product;Examine before You Buy

Friendship is all about suitability. You don’t buy a shoe that is not suitable for your leg. In the same vein, don’t buy into a relationship that is not suitable for your vision, marriage, life and destiny. Don’t buy into a relationship that holds no future for you. Relationship is a product you have to examine very well before you buy into it. Relationship has its reward, let it deliver them to you.

A good friend is hard to find, hard to lose and impossible to forget. Do you have any fruit to show for any good work in people’s lives?

Stop the Damage

It is not only what you take in through your mouth that is responsible for your total health. What you feed your soul and your spirit carries more weight.
Your life is a vehicle,
your body is the outer component .
your soul is the gear,
your spirit is the engine
Your life is a vehicle. Your body is the outer component of the car.
Your soul is the gear that helps you to move from one phase of your life to another. As someone describes it ”what you know will make you known” while your spirit is the engine generating the heat and the motion.

Please attend to your spirit. A car with a very sound engine and gear with a rugged body can travel miles with ease than a car with new body with bad gear and engine. Stop damaging your system with drugs and junks all in the name of food. I pray for you today that you will not be cut short in the midst of your days. Eat well and drink well.

Life is a Boxing Ring

Things you take lightly are what make you lightweight or featherweight in the boxing ring of life. Anything can knock you down cheaply. So, take life seriously. Life is an adventure, enjoy it. It is a journey, be focused. It is a business, trade it for profit. It is a race, run it carefully.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 6TH, "Day to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem."

This year, the day set aside to pray for Peace in Jerusalem and Israel is October 6, 2013.

Of course, you may, like millions of others, pray all the time for the peace of Jerusalem. But on this one day, more people will be praying in agreement than on any other day of the year.

The news these days is full of frightening reports of wars and rumors of wars. But with hope and gladness in our hearts and absent of all fears, we can and should pray this October for great peace to break out in Israel.

15 THINGS YOU DIDN’T KNOW…ABOUT REVEREND YOMI KASALI

HIS BIRTHDAY- 28TH FEBRUARY
HIS FAVOURITE TEAM- CHELSEA

HIS HERO- HIS FATHER

HIS WEAKNESS- “I LOVE THE TRUTH TO A FAULT…I CONSIDER THAT A WEAKNESS’’

HIS TAKE ON WESTERNISATION- I AM CIVILISED BUT NOT WESTERNISED…THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!

HIS DRESSING TIPS- I ASK MYSELF TWO QUESTIONS WHEN DRESSING UP; IS IT BEAUTIFUL? DOES IT GLORIFY GOD? IT IS A WRONG DRESS SENSE WHEN YOU THINK THAT IF YOU ARE NOT NUDE YOU HAVE NOT DRESSED UP…

HIS MARKETING ANALOGY- THEY SAY ''SEX SELLS'', I SAY ''SEX KILLS!''

HIS FAVOURITE QUOTE- ‘’WE ARE THE SALT OF THE EARTH, NOT THE SUGAR OF THE EARTH’’ (TELL PEOPLE THE TRUTH THAT THEY NEED TO HEAR EVEN IF IT HURTS, NOT THE LIES THAT WOULD MAKE THEM FEEL GOOD AND LEAVE THEM WORSE OFF)
HIS PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY ON SUCCESS- ‘’YOU DON’T HAVE TO MEASURE SUCCESS WITH NUMBERS, MEASURE SUCCESS WITH RESULTS’’ (E.G. A SUCCESSFUL CHURCH IS NOT NECESSARILY MEASURED BY THE NUMBERS OF A CONGREGATION, BUT BY THE NUMBERS OF CHANGED LIVES)

CHRISTIAN MOVIES MAKING WAVES

In 2011, the $2-million "Courageous" grossed $34.5 million in domestic theaters, the $500,000 "Fireproof" sold $33.5 million in tickets in 2008, and two years ago the $18-million "Soul Surfer" grossed more than $43.8 million.
Unlike even low-budget horror movies that need an advertising campaign of about $30 million to launch them, Christian-tilting films are usually much cheaper to market because churches across the nation can help spread the word for free. When shopping for films add these three to your list

Horror film producer turns to Christian drama in 'Grace Unplugged'

The producer of  the movies 'Saw' sequel and 'Texas Chainsaw' remake, says he jumped at the chance to bring the family friendly 'Grace Unplugged' to 511 screens.
The last three movies produced by Mark Burg — a sequel to "Saw," the remake "Texas Chainsaw 3D" and a violent revenge tale called "The Tortured" — were all rated R for "grisly" and "sadistic" violence and were hardly pleasant experiences for characters trying to remain alive.

But Hollywood has a habit of making strange bedfellows, and when Burg's latest project arrives in theaters on Friday, fans of the horror veteran's work may be surprised by its story: "Grace Unplugged" is a Christian drama about a church singer (AJ Michalka) whose estrangement from her evangelical father mirrors the prodigal son parable in the Gospel of Luke.

Pope Francis receievs Abortion Instruments from Ex-abortionist

Dr. Antonio Oriente a former abortionist's far-fetched dream of surrendering the medical instruments with which he had once performed abortions to Pope Francis became a reality recently, when, to his astonishment, he found himself face to face with the pontiff.

In a testimony posted to Facebook, Dr. Antonio Oriente expresses his surprise at the encounter, explaining that he had originally decided not to go to Rome for a conference of gynecologists to which he was invited, because of a father-in-law in "grave health" and the fact that there was no guarantee he could even see the pope personally. But at the last minute, he changed his mind.

Oriente, the vice president and founder of the Associazione Italiana Ginecologi Ostetrici Cattolici (AIGOC), told ACI Presna, "I used to do abortions before my conversion, and I had the desire to entrust the [instruments] to the Holy Father, after I had failed to do it with John Paul II nor with Benedict XVI."

NIGERIANS IN DIASPORA AGOG WITH INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATION

JESTIN JOSEPH’S GUN MALFUNCTION; A MERE COINCIDENCE OR GOD’S INTERVENTION?

What could have turned out to be a massacre at Mcdonalds by a 24 year old boy was averted by what people can explain in no other way than to be God’s intervention through a mother’s prayer.
This story should encourage moms everywhere who pray for their children, and who sometimes wonder if their intercession—which can sometimes seem so weak in the face of challenges their kids face—is heard and acted upon by the Lord.
On Tuesday night, 24-year-old Jestin Joseph—suffering from an undiagnosed mental illness—seemingly could not take the voices he heard in his head anymore.
Carrying a pistol, he walked into a Fort Worth McDonald's and after a few moments, pulled out his weapon, pointing it at employees and customers, who also consisted of children, and repeatedly pulled the trigger. The gun did not fire.
So Jestin then went outside, according to The Blaze report, and fired a shot into the air.
The troubled young man returned to the restaurant and again took aim at individuals inside while pulling the trigger.
And again the gun would not fire.

President Goodluck Jonathan’s 53rd Independence Anniversary Speech

 FELLOW NIGERIANS,
1. Today marks 53 years of our Independence as a nation. First and foremost, I would like to say congratulations to us all. Through thick and thin, we have built this country together. Through triumphs and trials, we have developed a Nigerian identity in our own way.

2. In truth, Nigeria is still a work in progress and we are challenged everyday to keep building in spite of the various obstacles that we face. Our strength has been in our diversity. If we look back over the years, we can say confidently that there is every reason to celebrate.

3. Today’s Independence anniversary is unique because it is the last before we mark our centenary. On January 1, 2014, Nigeria will be 100 years old as a country, following the amalgamation of the Protectorates of Southern and Northern Nigeria in 1914.

4. Beloved country men and women, traditionally, the Presidential address on this symbolic day has served two purposes. It has, quite rightly, been used to remind all Nigerians about our heritage. It has also allowed my predecessors and I to comment on our stewardship to the nation and make political capital out of a state occasion.
