Pedro Rodriguez admits he is in a “difficult situation” at Barcelona and reiterates that his future will be resolved at the end of the season.
According to Goal, the 27-year-old has started just 13 games in La Liga this season after struggling to displace Luis Enrique’s preferred front three of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez.
Pedro has been linked with moves to Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United this summer and maintains he is open to leaving Barcelona.
“It is a difficult situation for me right now,” the Spain international told Al Primer Toque. “But I will be patient until the end of the season to make my decision on what to do next.
“I know there are clubs interested in me, which is a compliment, but I will evaluate where I stand in June.”
Meanwhile, Dani Alves will leave Barcelona after his agent revealed another club have offered him a better
deal than the one put on the table by the Catalans on Thursday morning.
The right-back’s representative, who also happens to be his ex-wife, met with Barca officials on Wednesday to discuss a new deal for the Brazilian and called a press conference on Thursday to clarify the current situation.
After reading a long list of his achievements as a player, Dinorah Santa Ana told reporters the 31-year-old had been offered only a one-year renewal by the Blaugrana, but said an unnamed club – thought to be Paris Saint-Germain – are prepared to meet his demands.
