An undisclosed amount was paid into an account sent by the abductors who had earlier demanded N15 million in an unnamed bank, Vanguard reports.

Mary Akinloye, whose service as nanny was sourced from the online sales portal OLX, left the house with
the three kids barely 24 hours on the job last Wednesday.

The children, Demola, 6; Adedamola, 4, and Aderomola, 11 months, were reportedly found in an uncompleted building in Tuesday night and were immediately taken to police hospital, Ikeja.

Upon visiting the Orekoya home on Wednesday, the children and their parents were yet to arrive from the hospital. Their grandfather, Senior Apostle Adekunle, described the eight days of his grandchildren’s disappearance as one of the worst challenges he had faced in his 67 years of existence.

The nanny is currently on the run, as investigations are still ongoing.
