Days after being called a bad man by Ribery, Van Gaal has been smeared once again and this time by Diego Maradona, who has called him the devil.
Maradona who is in Colombia ahead of his participation in a “pro peace match” has described Van Gaal as the devil in respect to the way he has used Colombian international and on loan Monaco forward, Radamel Falcao.
Falcao who has not impressed in a reds shirt and has made only 12 appearances this season is having his
worst career season yet, Maradona believes Van Gaal is to blame.
“Van Gaal is not a cool guy. He is closer to the devil than anything else,”
“The World Cup was great and I think everyone felt Colombian at least for a while, when James [Rodriguez] or [Juan] Cuadrado had the ball.
“If Falcao was there, Colombia may be celebrating their first WC glory.
“Falcao was conditioned due to his severe injury. Moving from France to England was tough and he needed to adapt himself.”
It is also safe to say that Maradona has a wicked sense of humour, seeing as Van Gaal is in charge of the red devils, he might as well be the devil.
